Day 1 : Amman
Arrive at Amman. On arrival city tour includes Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman Theatre, and Folklore Museum followed by a walk through bazaars and the Gold market. Later visit Darat al Funun, Nature Center of the Royal Society and walk through “Jabal Amman,” the oldest part of Amman and visit Jordan River Design Shop for handicrafts.
Day 2 : Jerash - Ajloun - Umm Qais
Full day Excursion to Jerash, city tour includes the oval plaza area, theatres, colonnaded streets, Temple of Artemis and Zeus and a complex of churches. Visit the only Islamic Castle of Ajloun - considered one of the very few Islamic Castles built to protect the country against the Crusader attacks. Later proceed to Umm Qais (Old Gadara) one of the most important cities in Jordan. View the Jordan Valley and the Yarmouk River. Travel back to Amman via the Jordan Valley among the Jordanian Israelis border to view the Valley of Jordan.
Day 3 : Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Kerak - Petra
Travel to Petra via Madaba, Mt. Nebo and Kerak. Some of the world's finest Byzantine mosaics are found in Madaba and the oldest known map of the Holy Land. Mt. Nebo, thought to be the burial site of Moses, boasts a splendid view of the Dead Sea. Pass through Wadi Mujib and visit Kerak's massive Crusader Castle, built on a plateau 3,400 feet above sea level.
Day 4 : Petra
Explore the legendary rosered city of Petra - The New Wonder of The World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Petra is the legacy of the Nabataeans, the industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Most of the 800 monuments in Petra are carved out of solid rock. See the spectacular Treasury,the 8,000-seat amphitheater, the Temple of the Winged Lions and other monuments.
Day 5 : Petra - Wadi Rum - Amman
Visit the Wadi Rum Desert in a 4WD vehicle. Lawrence of Arabia spent some time on this awesome moonscape of sand and wind-sculpted stone. Visit the Lawrence Springs, Khazali Mount and Jabal Rum. Arrive at Amman in the evening.
Day 6 : Departure from Amman
Board the flight for your hometown. Tour Concludes.
